I really do need to work on this Mystery ride though.

Another new grandmother here! My little snuggle bug is 4 1/2 months old. He lives with me (along with my son and babys mom) , so I know what you mean! Its different than with my kids, too, as I know now how fast they grow up. I know those tiny toes wont stay tiny long, so I want to enjoy them as much as I can!

Everyone says how great being a grandparent is, but when it actually happens, its 100 times better!

I'll post my pics later, still working!

well, surprise-surprise. it is saturday already. really caught off guard. here i was at my computer checking out for today's clue when "what do my wondering eyes" see? the clue from last saturday. just laying there patiently waiting for me to get with it. so, now i have two clues to get done. ah, well!

it will have to wait until monday. i met with my friday night quilting group last night and we decided to get together monday morning for an all day sew in. i left my machine and projects at my friends house as i was not planning to sew over the weekend. still have to complete my block of the month samples for guild next tuesday night too. guess i won't get to start quilting on my newest completed top until later in the week. still have to quilt the last mystery train quilt also.

where does the time go. don't know but sure know it goes fast. trying to make a date with my two lovely granddaughters (13 and 17) to spend a day or two with them before their summer break is over. they have such busy schedules.

think i will have to drown my sorrows in a root beer float in the dining car. see you there.

Well, I'm back. Tired, been sewing since 9 with a short lunch break and need to sit back, have a cup of coffee and relax.

    Everyone enjoying themselves?

Wanted to post one more picture. When I decided to go a scrappy wall hanging, I did this one, and finished it without the borders because I didn't want anything too large. It is a bit darker than planned, but I think it works where it is. It hangs over a bed covered with a scrappy quilt.

The lighter scrappy, that I showed a picture of earlier this morning, is a table cloth for the breakfast nook, and was finished with the rest of the steps that you will be getting next week.

I have decided to post next week's clue to finish off the quilt. I'm sure by now all of you know exactly what is going to happen with this. But also, I will be driving to L.A. to visit my daughter that last weekend of May so will just give you all the clues next Saturday.

I just couldn't wait to post this step! It's just on the design wall, still have to stitch it together, but it's looking FANTASTIC! Thank you Judy for hosting this, I'm having a blast!!

Gorgeous, Cindy!! Love your colors! I had intended to use soft pinks, peaches and yellows--might need to add something a bit darker for more contrast, after seeing yours and others!! (Haven't actually started this mystery as I have too many other projects I need to finish!)
So far everyone's colors are so cool!

I'm heading to the club car for a root beer float!!
