Why do some of us wait until the very last minute??? Oh wait, I do have one more day, so this is only the last minute. "smile"

Here is my January block. I'm hoping to get the second block done tomorrow.

My Mom used to tell me as we get older time goes by faster. So at the beginning of the month....heck I have all month to do it in.....Thankfully I did okay this month, but keep in mind next month is shorter, lol.

Love the paisleys, Barb. Are you going to go with those prints with all your blocks? It sure will be pretty.. Mary, glad to see you got yours made, very pretty. The blocks for this next month are a wee bit challenging, more HST , but very pretty blocks. Remember, practice makes perfect (or almost..lolo)

Thanks Bibliostone, odd how the oranges look different, the center orange is right but in the photo the flowers do not show the color correctly! Now to get the next one done today! lol

Thank you and yes, I do plan to use both the paisleys and a couple more colors. The beige will be my primary background throughout the blocks. Looking forward to the next blocks. I thought the lighter paisley would be the primary focus, but it looks like the darker blue might win out. Thanks for the sewing bee and the gentle reminder to get me sewing for January.
