Great block. You can do the blocks anyway you like, scrappy or all in a theme. The reason I went with a 10" block this time as so many blocks we've done in past have been 12 1/2", just wanted something different. These are your blocks so make out of anything you want..

Nice block Delphina. Like the pretty floral fabric you have used.

Thanks for the kind words. Yes, I will make my blocks with red and gray fabrics and hope to mix them with some 9 inch blocks done in red and gray that were part of a block of the month a LQS did a few years ago. I know they are stored in a blue backpack, I just have to find it. I thought I would frame the 9 inch ones with black and it would look kind of like sashing if I alternate them with these.

Been away from the board for a while for family reasons but thought I might join you so made my block yesterday. It turns out 10 1/4 not 10 1/2 :-(

That will be a striking quilt, Bib...I love reds and grays/blacks together. Pippa, glad you've joined in..Is there a way you could steam your block a bit and stretch it to 10 1/2"? I've had to do that and just a wee bit of work and it'll measure correctly. This is YOUR block, so do what you need to do to make it work. Welcome.

I got my block done but do not know how to put it on this board, and I do not know how to make it small enough. Can some one help me please? Thanks in advance.
