I really need to play catch up. I got January's done and then flaked out on February and March. Have a good excuse for February as I was ill, but no excuse for March. I think I'll set aside a couple of days next week and get them made. Thanks for continuing this, Oksewnsew.

OOOHHH my goodness, ya'all are so fast. You get them done so fast, what are ya gonna do the rest of the month? LOLO Very pretty blocks. Well, I do have mine cut and ready to sew.

My son and I combined our storage units this afternoon, took us about 3 hrs. We have climate controlled units so it was mostly inside. Didn't have far to go to move stuff, but boy are we tired!!! Boxes weren't so bad, but he has a big, double recliner couch & washer & dryer - holy moly!! But we had 2 flat dollies and managed to put one on each end of the couch and rolled it out of his unit into OUR unit..gotter done! Whew - glad it's done..lol And, it wasn't hot. Whew! Needless to say, no sewing today. I'll probably work on them tomorrow.

Keep up the good work, and so glad you're enjoying this. Barb in La & Belfrybat, glad to hear from ya'all...Maybe just make one of the previous blocks for now, you can always catch up during the month.

We have a some 'new' ladies that have asked to join - QuiltedComforts, Twinharbor & Innov8r - I hope they enjoy it too.

Thank you, definitely a step at a time for this girl. I couldn't believe when I got on the site this morning it was up to 12 pages already, amazing.

Wow, so soon, nice. I can't believe your work with stripes. They are a no no to me, I hate working with stripes. Trying to make myself from time to time. Yours look good, nice job.

Welcome to all the new and old joiners alike, great bees. I have to laugh when you say wow, done already now what are you going to do the rest of the month. We are quilters there is always something under the needle, something planned, something to finish, and soooooo many ideas, just not enough time, lol.

Boy, isn't that the truth? I finish one thing, next thing ya know I'm into something else. Always something to do, projects to do, UFO's to work on...I will set and think, wonder IF my daughter or granddaughter will take my stuff and get as much enjoyment out of it as I have. It's been my salvation in so many ways.

    Lovely blocks, Chasezzz and Cheesehead!

I am so glad the Flower Pot block went together easily as I usually have problems with keeping the diagonals flat and straight. I didn't have enough of the brown batik so I took a couple of practice blocks apart and used the extra brown for the rectangle ends. Then I didn't have enough matching background color for the donated small HST's so I took them apart and added the background color. I cut my pieces out of the mottled beige remnant and ended up needing to cut one rectangle on the bias because I didn't have enough otherwise. Operator error! Lol! I'm just glad a few more pieces of donated batiks were used.
I just finished my second block for this month. I guess the good news is that it is done, the bad news is, now I have to wait for an entire month to do the next two blocks! I will enjoy seeing everyone elses blocks through this month. Jan I love any shad of purple so with that said love your blocks
