    Default Feb Blocks

Got mine done and really do like the Grandmother's favorite quilt block. Thinking of making a whole quilt using that block..

I am going to start cutting my fabric today. I just finished a rag quilt made with old jeans and flannel. It came out so cute. I hope you all are having a great day

I really love the idea of having a pattern than it is up to us to decide to imitate the setup with colors or put fabric our own choice and way as long as the pattern is the same. Food for thought.

I totally agree with Anne. However, one of my February blocks is going to be a bit different. My method of making 8 at a time HST blocks didn't go well. Rather than throw out all those little HST's, I decided to go ahead and use them and just adjust the 4 larger HST's. Now that I've thrown out that little tidbit of info, I'll try and post the slightly changed block later today.

Seriously, I am amazed at all the fantastic blocks coming out of this thread. Such creativity and beautiful fabrics.

I finished my blocks today. Good day to sew we got over 15" of snow. I liked Grandmas block. Didn't enjoy doing the other one. Pieces just to small. I think I did them right
