This is my second block for June and the bonus block. I am ready for the July blocks and I hope to do some catch up block over the holiday weekend. I have enjoyed these blocks. My bonus block looks rather blue but it is yellow and lavender.

Finally got one block done for June (even though its now July in New Zealand). Spent a week with my daughter in hospital and then had to move her and her boyfriend into their new house. Had an exam and on top of catching up on all the work that wasn't done on my behalf its been a very busy month. Can't believe that 6 months of 2017 has already passed. Feel like I have done very little sewing this year, but this can only get better. Everyone's block are looking really good. Such a variety of colours, will be great to see the final products.

Sorry to hear about your family trials & tribulations - seems that's just life sometimes..Hopefully things will get better soon. Your block is very pretty, glad you got one done.

I can't believe it's July already - geez, it's moving way too fast.

As they say, "It's 5 o'clock somewhere." I so anxious to join, SO, "It's July somewhere." When can we see the blocks?

Hi petthefabric. Welcome & I hope you will enjoy this. You may PM me anytime. There will be a new thread tomorrow with the patterns listed. If you have read the past postings, you know it's a 10 1/2" block (unfinished), and you need to post a picture of what you make, and we love chatting. There's always 2 patterns listed, but you only need one to stay in the group. We have a lot of nice ladies here, so enjoy.. The new thread will be under 'Blocks of the Month & Week', and titled 'New Quilting Bee, July 2017'..

Have July blocks been posted yet? Is it still too early? Am I looking in the wrong place? I have too many irons in the fire now and I'm getting confused. Sorry. Janet

Hugs,
Betty
