Default New Quilting Bee June, 2017

Can you believe how fast this year is moving? It's nice to see all the different fabrics used in the blocks, going to be quite interesting to see how everyone puts these blocks together. The quilter that is choosing the blocks for June is (drum roll..........), Carrot. She has chosen a couple neat blocks - she said she'd had these 'saved' just in case her name came up to choose. lolo They are great blocks, too. Thanks, Karen.

**The one rule is that when you have made your block, you must post a picture(s) in order to be in the next month. The block patterns will be posted as 10 1/2" blocks.

We welcome new participants. Just send me a PM and I will make note that you would like to join. I hope that everyone who wishes to join, stays with us for the year. Even if you have to play catch-up, one block is all it takes to stay in. Have fun...

Here are the June blocks finished. They are on my ironing board, that's why the background looks weird...lolo

These look easy enough for me to do!
And being from New Orleans, the Baton Rouge square makes me a tad homesick.

Love the 2 new blocks for this month. They look like they will be fun to do. I think I can do this one without getting
    frustrated. Happy June to all

BillieJean, just go to Private Messages at the top of this page and send to Oksewnsew. If you join the thread, it will automatically send you emails when someone posts to this thread..maybe that will make it easier for you to find.

Welcome and hope you have fun. Just remember, all you have to do is make one of the blocks and post a pic. It's nice to see posts from you too. Hope this helps you some..

Cannot wait to work on these tonight. I am loving making blocks. I have always done applique quilts so this is all new to me.
