Sharon, poor kid! That finger looks sore! The block is so pretty though! Definitely worth it! Just kidding, but it is a beautiful block.

Wow!! This is great fun to see all the color differences! That's a tricky square! I'd never be able to do a whole quilt in that without fainting from intense concentration!! :D

You are absolutely right Ceannastahr! I'm a beginner and love these block "challenges!" I'm learning so much. Even if my blocks turn wonky, I still am proud of them! Thanks for the block! Great choice.

I absolutely agree with both of you. I'm not exactly a beginner but I'm certainly learning lots! Thank you to one and all who have challenged us this year.

You are so right, Connie, we learn, we learn, and it's fun. I wouldn't do a whole quilt with this block because it makes me dizzy looking at the quilt size that was pictured. BUT I will use it again and maybe make it a center block and do some snazzy piecing around it! You done good, sweetie!!

Finger is healing, I don't know what it is with my sewing my finger so much this year. I just don't know, I've not in 50 years of sewing gone into the fingers like I have this year. Maybe I really NEED the eye check.........DUH!!!

    Hugs y'all,
    Sharon

I finally got mine together, just made it with 20 mins to spare  , well 20 mins here anyway, I know its a whole nother day before the 1st your end. Loved this block, was a bit fiddly at 9 inches but had lots of scope to play with different shades :P .
