I really like this one. I think I am going to try this......eeekkkk :D

I have found one for every state. I was thinking about starting one but thought it might be a bit much. Maybe if others want to we could spur each other on??????

For a 12 in block the solid squares should be 3.5 inches and the geese should be 2 X 3.5. The sq's for the geese should be 2 in X 2 in. I just can't figure out how big the squares would be for the sq in a sq block. I know that they should end up being 3.5 to be able to be put together.

Here is a method to determine how to size the sq in a sq block. It is called the corner triangle method.

    Hope this helps.

It would be neat to make one with a b lock for every state. Maybe make the blocks in the state colors. Or maybe all red, white & Blue. What a thought. :?:

I love this block and many others on your site. My question is ,If I want to make a whole quilt, how do I determine how much fabric to buy of each color?. I can follow instructions easily, but haven't tried anything like planning or designing anything of my own.
