Shelly,
We outed you yesterday, you didn't follow the pattern. You made up your own and we want to know how you did it. Measurements, I mean, we love the look of it.
ALSO....just where do you find the really colorful, beautiful, friendly fabrics????
We're all curious in the morning chat group, so give it up, please???
Hugs,
Sharon
PS: Thanks for the compliments on my block. I loved it so much that I made another. lol lol I'm thinking it would be a wonderful block to make the quilts for the injured in Iraq and Afghanistan???

All the blocks are looking great  . Sorry to disapoint but I can't see anything wrong with yours either Mimi, looks dang good :P .
Talkin bout me in chat aye, no wonder my ears was burnin yesterday  . Ok so I'm busted  , was wondering if anybody would notice. Years ago I used to make mini cushions as fridge magnets and tree decorations the blocks were 1 1/2" square, so I had to foundation piece them. I redrafted quite a few patterns so that they were able to be pieced that way and this was one of them. In this larger size I didn't foundation piece, no need for it, but ever since then I've made this block in squares and rectangles instead of triangles, it just seems easier, Still need triangles for the outside edges tho.
I can't post patts cause I don't have a PDF writer, but if you would like one, maybe we could ask Patrice real nice and see if she would post one for us. I can post rotary cutting directions in different sizes tho, if that would be useful to anyone, just let me know what size.
Also I'm not sure of the legalities of all this :? , just cause I drafted it this way doesn't mean someone else hasn't and copyrighted it. I should prob check with admin, should also find out what the rules and exspenses are here for copywriting, bound to be different from the States.

So ... I'm sound asleep, dreaming of that gardener ...
all of a sudden 4 goons come crashing into my room; (sorry, officer, they shined flashlights in my eyes and wore ski masks. can't give a positive ID. except ... one sounded an awful lot like ShellyQ.)
they said if i didn't cooperate, they were gonna paint my house funny colors, shave my dogs, and hold my stash hostage. well. a house can be repainted. hair grows back. BUT MY PRECIOUS STASH?????!!!!!
so ... fine!!! whatever!!! i cooperated.
here are the stinking files!
NOW GIMME BACK MY FABRIC!!!!

Thanks for the pattern Shelly. It sure looks easier than the way I did mine. And thanks to you Patrice for setting it up so we could print it out. I have my copy all tucked away for when I have time. I might actually want to make this quilt all over again this way. :D
