    That's exactly right. I used my table saw and put a slight angle to it. I took a couple pictures in case you want to make one or have someone with a saw make one. I had to hang a piece of fabric behind it so the glare wouldn't interfear. Mine holds from a 2 1/2"x2 1/2" to a 12" x 12" with no problems. I've used it for about 3 maybe 4 yrs and nothing has warped yet. That purple quilt is going to be fabulous. I love the last layout. Have a good day everyone.

    Lawsonmugs, thanks for the photo because when it was described all I saw in my mind were the cuts across the short side of the 2x4. This way is so much more logical. I'm going to make one. After I catch up on the mystery, of course.

    Saturday at noon, but today doesn't count anymore and Saturday doesn't count coz we get our clue then. I'm waiting very impatiently for our next clue!!! can't wait to see what it is.
