Is it saturday yet?!?!? what's taking so long,
I thought I heard someone say SATURDAY. do you all believe
next week we wont be on this wonderful train anymore?!?!?
We'll all be getting off pretty soon, and i'll miss you all.
Can't wait to see you all again in the January ride.

Catlady - love it.
Emma - did you really need an excuse to go to a fabric store? LOL
Sunlite - that's so sweet!
Mary - I do too, I have it on the round kitchen table so I can enjoy it every day.
Cindy - give it a try, you might win the grand prize!

I am getting caught up (sorta), got week 4 cut and sewed today.. somehow I have run out of "C" before I could finish all of A/C blocks so back to the LQS and hope they still have some. *sigh* Mine is turning out OK but I have learned some things about myself during this process --- I don't do "WELL" with written directions. I really NEED to follow pictures to see the end result BEFORE I start a project. I am visual learner (which I already knew). so this has been a REAL mystery challenge for me.... I have been quilting since 1987. I can't tell you how many stupid mistakes I have made on this.... I WILL hang in there and finish.....cause I think it will be beautiful and Judy has done such a great job.. And, of course, I have enjoyed all the goodies in the CLUB CAR.... Be sure to stop by and check out the SEAFOOD CHOWDER I snuck in there a bit ago.... I actually caught the salmon and halibut with my own hands (fishing pole was involved!! lol !) in Sitka Alaska last summer.... Hurry! while it is still hot!!!

I hope everyone sticks around while the train is on the siding.....it is fun to see the results as they are finished and how they are quilted.....and who is doing what for the holidays, and what fabric you found or visited on your travels. and the completely finished quilts and who gets to love them forever. And we really need to know how the wine turns out.

it's been great seeing how everyone's colours are coming together, especially colour combos I wouldn't normally consider - quite an education really, seeing the results .
Here's my next clue. First week when I've actually been at home when the clue came out!
I did audition a couple of alternative E fabrics, but neither was sufficiently better to make me change my mind on the original choice.
Looking forward to next week's revelation.....

Had to jump off the Mystery Train for a day or so. My ancient chest freezer finally died, RIP. Cleaning it out was one of my summer goals that I did not meet. Worst of all it was loaded to the top, I will treat the cleaning and dumping process as an archeological dig. Fortunately I bought an upright freezer a couple of years ago, so all is not lost, just most of it.
