Was just popping by to see how everyone's blocks were turning out, looking good!!!! I haven't had a chance to start yet and probably wont until tomorrow My kids are having a Halloween party this year so we've been focusing on that and I've been working on the back of the quilt for the wedding gift I'm making. I spent an ENTIRE day creating a quilt label on the computer and printing it out, I was not proud of my Adobe Illustrator skils, but once my hubby helped me with it my design fell into place and I think it will all turn out good. Fingers crossed. Hoping I have something to share tomorrow

I just popped over to the Secret Santa thread to see what was happening and someone had reported the cabana boy was headed her way with a tray that held a pot of coffee, a bottle of coconut rum, and some pastries. Well, ladies, I just nipped on over, snagged that tray, and put it in the club car. So there is a special treat today! Enjoy.

    Default My big blocks

Here are my blocks. (I have not squared them up yet.) Yes, I stayed with my original fabric choices, after all that is what makes for a good mystery, surprised til the end.

Mary, I saw him on his way out, a real cutie!!!
It's almost Saturday and we'll finally find out the end of the mystery.
I don't want this ride to end. Rumor has it a scrappy one will start in January.
I hope I find my 2 1/2" ruler by then, incase we need it again.
It's dreary here today, everyone enjoy the day.

Florence and Mary - I can't remember the size of the block and forgot to mark it down before it went of to the long arm quilter. Sorry. But someone did answer that. But if you square it up leaving a hair mite than a quarter inch, like 1/8'' more, off the point of the star block, you will be fine. Then will have plenty to square up the final size of 16-1/2''.

Mary, yes, I did grab the cabana boy, too, along with the goodies I left out for you. might share him, might not ...... I stashed him in my cabin.
