Ok,here is mine in progress. I did a couple of blocks and then put it up on the wall. So, this is basically a quarter of the quilt.
My first thought was I should have just used my C fabric for the huge triangle blocks. Since it would have seemed to pull the inner part of the block together better than the E fabric. But it works.

I decided to add E as a flange around the outer part before the 2.25 strip (I used two instead of 1.25). That strip is the salmon color which is my B.

I decided to use the C color as the 3 inch border color since it pulls out the C colors of the rest of the quilt. What do you guys think?

    beautiful finishes ladies.
put a 3" border on, coz that's what my ruler was.
sorry excuse, but that's what I did. Going to my
bee tomorrow, will have pictures then, debating
about a second border. about 5-6" r somewhere
    around that.

How is everyone quilting their beautiful quilts now that
the tops are done????? Big question.

    Nice one HayLillian

No idea about quilting yet, Lynnie. I don't quilt tops very well. Most times I'll end up tying them.

    Looking good!!!

    Reeskylr- love the salmon border!

Esther- love the yellow and blue combo! Such a bright cheerful quilt!

Anyone else anxiously awaiting to see how the scrappy quilts turned out?

I hope to get to mine in the next couple of weeks--everything seems to have hit at once, and I'm behind! Got the corners made, but no assembly yet.
