Cannyquilter, try using Mary Ellen's best press or starch and press it with a hot iron and a lot of steam. It's amazing what that can do!

Wow! Great quilts. I'm so glad we don't have to pick favourites, because they will all win.

I'm finally finished. It measures 60 x 86" -- just perfect for a twin bed. I was going to give it to a friend, but like it so much I'm considering keeping it and giving the original bright one away. Decisions, decisions. Thanks to everyone for your suggestions on how to lengthen it. I'm very pleased that it doesn't look added onto.

I've got the same issue, cannyquilter-I'm hoping it will quilt down. I think I'll use a batting with a bit of loft.

Here is my quilt and I do love it! The top shows the green binding I will use when I put it together.
