I am going to try (sigh) to sort and cut all boxes and totes filled to the brim with scraps. Trying to get more organized. Don't laugh I have to do this or go totally insane. Now who can I con to come to my house for a scrap cutting party...hmmmm! I'd invite my sister but we are oil and water so that would not work. Someone would have to bail me out of jail. If anyone wants to come I'll make lunch. Now just so you know I have 7 mid size totes, 3 huge totes and 14 Avon size boxes full of scraps that need cutting and sorting. Any takers???? I'll share my scraps with you.

    Yikes!!!
To think I was complaining about the cost of pecans and walnuts being in the 7 to 8$ US and when gasoline unleaded went up 2pennies to $2.38 a gallon. I don't think I will complain as much now. By the way what does a yard of good quality 100% cotton fabric costs there? Here is ranges from 7 to about 12$ a yard.

They don't grow here and we have to import them. Walnuts are more expensive but we use more of those since our recipes have used them for centuries.
Petrol (gasoline, unleaded) is dropping in price here just now it cost me £1.18 a litre last week. That works out at US$7.50 for a USA gallon.

And a scrappy quilt would be brilliant to use up so many bits and pieces that I don't have the heart to throw away.

Okay what is E-10 gas? All I know is unleaded/premium unleaded and diesel.
I may need to move to Oklahoma City area. On second thought it snows there so I guess I'll stay here.

Lynnie, I'm with you on not having whites/neutrals. I'm nmore into, well, I just have a collection that's mixed! But I do have a group of reds just waiting for a red/white quilt, so what to do...truly scrappy or controlled scrappy? Well, we'll have to wait/see! WE have a shop hop coming up and that will add more projects. If I live to 100, it won't get all done!

Diva: The Scrap Cutting Party actually sounds like fun. With all the containers full of scraps I think you should plan on a sleep over. I would be there in a NY second if the commute wasn't so long.

Ok I must be a weirdo. . . Not that that's any news to anybody. Lol!

I don't understand wanting to cut up your scraps until you are ready to use them. Then you know what size you need them to be.

    Somebody please explain! Thanks.
