Our 7th Mystery Quilt Train Ride -- Whoo Hoo
#2393
So I need advice from you lovely fellow travelers. I am expanding my quilt to 12 center stars which means I need a total of 32 border squares (including corners).
I only have enough of the D fabric to do either 16 or 24 squares. And then use E for the other 16 or 8 squares.
Or else use D for all the HST with A and use E for all the HST with B.
So that's three choices and I can't make up my mind!!!
Picture of a center block to follow so you know what fabrics I'm using.

Been playing with it. Think I'm going to go with alternating blocks with rust for both sides of hour glass and blocks with dark brown for both sides. Seems to carry out the placement in the center blocks best.

Oh so am I!!!! I'm so ready for Saturday. I have #7 almost done, I'm still debating how I want to finish the outer border. Like many other members here, I didn't have enough fabric to enlarge the project, (I just love this mystery and so want to enlarge the quilt). I found a substitute fabric I like and will finish this later this month. Then I will try to post pictures again.
See everyone on Saturday. Happy sewing and quilting everyone!!!!!!!
