Betty: That really turned out beautifully with the limited palette. This is one of my very favorite Judy creations. Mine is still waiting to be sandwiched and quilted. Thanks for the blast from a past train ride.

So I have a question. Sorry if it seems stupid, but did I understand correctly that this top is done, but just needs to be hand quilted? If that is the case, it appears from the picture that the binding and all is on, so is it all together and you hand quilt after that? I guess I thought that the quilting was always done before the binding was put on, but maybe that isn't the case with hand quilting. Inquiring minds want to know. I haven't attempted hand quilting so just curious. Thanks.
