OK Judy, I changed the brown to a beige. Is that better? And did you like the new red?

Just checking out my stash and I don't have another piece that is big enough, although I have 32 inches of the stripe and it calls for 18, will that make a difference or is it the stripe that is the sticking point?

MEGAN.....same here, my Daughter and I are doing this together (Julia is her GrandDaughter...see how that works) my DarlingDaughter totally enjoyed Mystery Train #6 but is 'submerged' in first semester students who all show great potential as future teachers ! So she will follow along on Mystery Train #7..

Thanks Billi! For now, that will be the one I am going to use. Can't wait for the next clue! Between this challenge, the Boomerang and a batik row robin I am in (from elsewhere), I should have enough projects to fill my time. (Not to mention the 20+ tops I need to quilt.....)
I have never done a mystery quilt so I am looking forward to this one.
