Our 7th Mystery Quilt Train Ride -- Whoo Hoo
#411
Ok, here is my first stab at plundering the stash.. 2 different options. Please, tell me what ya'll think. The two color possibilities in slot C (yellow or lite green), they are both small, only 19 inches each, so they are in the only spot they will fit in...
The dark blue (E) and the print (D), jumped at me the moment I walked in the museum, so they became my working base...
The second option, Yellow C, the yellow is really yellowier.. it is a fairy frost so the light is reflecting off, making it look whiter...
The first option shown , Greenie C, is probably closer to true colors overall.
Weird, since it is same camera, same location.. technology is too weird sometimes...
Tomorrow I wil probably go search through the stash again to see if a different option grabs me...

I wish I wasn't sitting this ride out, but it just isn't good timing for me. I love reading the posts and looking at all the great fabrics that have been chosen. Because of Judy's great directions and help, I can see some beautiful quilts coming out of this.

Neither -- both? This is a great mystery, isn't it? I used Judy's example and put the most prominent print in C, but there is less of C than anything else. Since it is my favourite, I'm planning on using some for the border as well. I noticed others used D for the most prominent. All I know for sure is I've never seen a dull or bad looking quilt come from one of Judy's mysteries.

Its scary to just go for it with out knowing for sure, trust yourself in your pallet choice and I bet it will be beautiful.
