Lynnie is having her 10th back surgery today. Let's all send her heaps of love. She is one bionic lady and has the best attitude. Big hug to Lynnie, dear friend! Dotty

Lynnie: Heal quickly, we want you back here with us. Dot, would you let us know how she is doing?

lawsonmugs, you know if you call the Quilt Police, they are going to shut us down! They don't like it when we do it our way, not their way

Beautiful blocks, love every one of them. And seems as if you gals seem to be pleased with your results.

Dotty, when you see or talk to Lynnie, make sure and give her hugs and best wishes for a speedy recovery from all of us. We will miss her. Do you know how long she will be out of commission?

Well, my stars aren't going as smoothly as everyone else's. I didn't have a 2 1/2 " template so I was trying to do them the same as the instructions in clue #2. I ended up confused and cut way too many 3" squares. I was so focused on the fact that we needed 24 blocks that I forgot that doing it as clue #2 made two squares at a time. Yep, I feel stupid.

Any chance that directions can be put in for those of us that don't have 2 1/2" templates?

I'm just a lurker, but does your sewing machine have any fancy stitches? You could outline your stars in a dark purple thread w/ a fancy stitch.
