    If I were you and had enough fabric, I'd use a darker blue for the "sky" part of the geese (the one that makes the stars). Check with Judy first, but it seems to me, even though I don't know what the rest of the quilt will look like, that a 6th fabric for the stars only won't spoil it.

    Belfrybat... I hope that I can do that and not have to get rid of Clue 2's hst.

    I originally had a navy blue..... but Judy thought it was too dark.

    Since I have no idea how these go together, I just put a few HSTs around one of my stars for this picture. Thanks to everyone for the kind words.

    Could you possible use a darker purple in place of the light, swirly pc.? That would highlight the violets..

    When you said scrappy I raised my eyebrows, but this actually works. A rather striking block, can't wait to see how it comes together in the end.

    Can you swap the yellow and light blue. That would make a bright star. The green would work too as the star!
