I've got no excuses.... I just need to get off my bum and start sewing again. I promise I will get something done this week....

Jup if your excuse is spending time drooling and fondling fabric and sewing notions from the quilt festival, then you are forgiven.

    In fact - I'm jealous.

Howdy, Gals! Good to see your latest blocks...they are gorgeous! I didn't get one done for this last week but, I have been working on three that I have basted to machine quilt on my Bernina and one that I am piecing yet.

Deecee, I am so sorry to hear of your BIL. I pray for comfort for his family and for you, too. Glad to hear of DH's progress. May it continue!

Jup, I don't know how to manage when there are days without sewing. I have had those times~~~glad they aren't often!

Irene, good to see your block. I look forward to seeing your quilt someday with the blocks all together. I am seeing quite a showstopper!

Nancy, I feel like I know you from observing your interaction on Debbies PDA!

Deecee, I forgot to say how lovely your latest block looks! I know your completed quilt will be worth waiting for, alsso.

I am going today to get (I hope) a solution to importing my pics from my camera to my computer. If it works I will have two blocks to share!

Okay, so, is that a good thing or a bad thing? We do get crazy once in a while. Especially if she is having a down day and I'm working at cheering her up.

I behave much better on this topic!

    Hi Judith,

I'm not a computer guru or a camera buff, but maybe what I found will help you too.

Several YEARS after I got my computer and my camera, I discovered that I didn't need all that cord mess to put them together. I can take the storage card out of the camera and stick it in that little hole on my computer and read it from there! duh... some of us just take a little bit longer to catch on....lol

Maybe you have a little port and a little card , too!

    hugs, Jup

I use the cord - hard to break old habits. I should try the memory card too.

I think I have it figured out.

These are the last two blocks I finished. I still need to do the one due yesterday!

Nancy, it is all good! I loved reading and seeing the pictures of your trip to the retreat!

I went to get a card reader and plugged it into the computer with a cord. Before I had a cord that connected the Kodak dock to the computer but I had trouble with importing. They were a good idea but, they don't hold up too good! Hey! I just found my card reader built into my 'puter just like you said. Old dogs and new tricks . . . .I read something about that on the forum recently! LOL Thanks, Jup.
