Hi All,
I am so happy that our time to begin is now! We are all champing at the bits to get going. We need to establish a couple of ground rules. There are many of us, and we will all have photos to post each week. In order to avoid confussion, we need to limit our photos to the current week's block.
1. Even if you are working ahead, do not post your photo until the actual week when that block is scheduled. (Schedule is on page 1, in the first post)
2. The schedule date is the date to begin. Try to post your photo sometime that week.
3. Use the catch up weeks to get current and post what you get done. After the catch up week, please don't post anything from prior weeks. Only by posting current block photos each week will we be able to move forward in an organized manner.
I hope I said this in a way as to be clear but not hurtful.
hugs,
Jupiter

I didn't use the fabric I had chosen for the project so will have to redo this block. My ink didn't run when I tested it but did when it had glue on it. I put my templates on backwards. Two mistakes to correct next time around. Hopefully it won't bleed then. I used the templates from the website, that saves a lot of copying. I think this will be a lot of fun:)

I read the first pages and have a question. Do I understand that you iron the freezer paper to the copy paper, then use both layers in the applique? I have minimal experience with applique, but don't understand why we have 2 layers in each applique? I feel like I missed something. Thanks.

2 Questions----- I noticed in the book the first 4 designs are on the 6 1/2 in. foundation block, are we going to use them in order? thus we would need 4- 6 1/2 inch foundation blocks, to get started ?? should we just make the 4 and 9 patch, just to have them ready for when we need them?== second question, I can't find the finished size of the quilt, either using sashing alone or the star blocks. anyone figure it out or did I just miss that somewhere.
