On another day, I will change the background color.
And, I see what you mean. When I first put the
message in, the signature doesn't come up, but
after a few seconds, it does. I know this is off topic,
but I'm just excited it worked finally.

I have a question. You and DeeCee have your names done nicely at the bottom of your notes. How did you do that? I think I have the coding, but don't know what to do with it now! lol

    Your signature ID: 54488-326-AA05B80A251A65302BDD01005D3D7046
Please copy the ID or save this page to use the signature in future.

Anyone wanna help me a little? I guess I am dense on this one....

The Boomerang has been fun - and a lot of work - but I think I will opt out of round 5.0. We're moving this summer, and with the address change and everything else going on - it would just be too much. I think I'm going to stick to projects like this for a while - I'm really enjoying working through the book with y'all. And, if things get crazy with the move this summer and I fall behind, the only person I'm letting down is myself

It looks like DeeCee had the right advice on the signature - and I'm glad she did - I can't remember how I did it and would have had to look it up again!

Just checked out this book from the library, so I can see what you are doing to get your little gems. May play around with it too.

Go for it kwiltkrazy. It's an interesting method.

So far I feel as though I am being more "crafty" with all the cutting and glueing and fussing with placement rather than making blocks just by sewing alone.

It is a bit of a change of pace between other projects and I must admit it does suit my "neat freak" personality with its precise little pieces.

DC you make it sound great to me. Get the book tomorrow, maybe I'll pull somethings from stash and see what happens, I know I don't have the stripes, not a stripey person.

These are the fabrics my blocks are based on and then I have added black and whatever golds I could find in my stash. I just chose a pattern I liked with some co-ordinating colours.

    Stripes are not mandatory.

You just need to have a browse through everyone's fabric pics and see what a variety have been chosen and they all work wonderfully.

    DeeCee,
Are those fabrics you have had for a while, or did you
get them recently. Even if you have had them a while,
what is the collection and manufacturer? I love them
and would like to do a search for them.

Thanks ladies, I like them too. I am normally a blue person, but these just grabbed me.

Marcia - they are part of Jinny Beyer's Sofia line. That is one of her more recent lines and you can order direct from her website - http://www.jinnybeyer.com/fabrics/co...on_name=Sophia

I found them very prompt and good to deal with internatioanlly. To purchase here I was looking at A$25.00 per metre. My order plus postage cost less than finding and purchasing the fabric here.
