Irene - I'm certainly learning about different glues and what not to use. I did try a cheaper one, but was sorry!

Obsessed - We have picked a few block colours the same - look forward to seeing your nosegay.

Hot off the presses... here is my nosegay. I was prepared to not like this block, but it turned out nicer than I thought it would when I started. Messing with those little green squares was annoying though. I never like having to cut through the back to get the papers out.

Here it is - thanks for looking!

ETA: Now that I see it posted, it kind of looks like an ice cream cone to me!

Great block Lara, I almost used green for the tiny squares also.

I must admit that I warmed to this block more as I was doing it, but could quite happily ignore any future small squares. My fabric is quite solid and the corners ended up quite difficult to get the needle through.

Keely sometimes I feel like plain and sometimes I feel like full on busy and just immerse myself in the beautiful fabric.

It's all good and I love your block.

    Deecee,

I agree. And I am having fun with this fabric, even knowing that I don't really have an "eye" for fabric combining. It ends up pretty, and I'm happy. All is good!

Love it Judy! You did a great job!

So, are we going to post all of our blocks together again this catch up week? I'd love to see them. I will take a photo of mine tonight...
