Thanks you all for your positive comments. I, too, am new to this brown color scheme. I've always liked brighter or blues. Somehow, right now, the caramel colors appeal to me. I am not sure how big a quilt I want to make... but hey, why limit my sights. King size would be really nice!

I think I am finally back. If I can just get rid of this cough I'd be fine. It's taken me a long time to get this to the point I'm getting it done. Here are the first six blocks. The picture is sideways. When I get the next six done I'll post them. I don't know if I'll need four in a row instead of three, but I'm just posting as I go.

OOoohhhhh Katie!!!! Your blocks are wonderful...... Thanks for showing them all together like that. Your colors are vivid, yet blend nicely too. Can hardly wait to see more of them.
