I think you should use both color. I looks the the fabric with the patterned background has all those colors in it already. It complaiments and enhances it. These are very beautiful, I love your choice of fabric. :D

Well did you make up your mind. How about yellow wings on pink bodies and vice versa?

I am getting ready to do some blocks right now. I'm rather far behind on the list. I believe the Tulip is the last one I did. I'm starting with the Honey Bee and it is very helpful to see the pics of all your blocks in choosing my own color combos. After the Honey Bee I'm going to the Heart block then on to Little Rock  . I'm undecided which ones will be next. But I intend to do at least one of each pattern. Then I am equally determined to get some pics posted.!!

I just got into the second block when my sister called. My Dad was on the way to the Hosp. w/possible heart attack. He had at least 1 TIA maybe even three since Fathers day, and to think he had been driving! We spent night at the ER and found out he had blood on the brain so this week has been full of family coming and going and Hospital vigil. They did brain surgery to drain the excess fluid and yesterday took out the shunt, So apparently he is doing much better. ( worked all day yesterday) will be spending probably most of the day with him today. He is quite the big baby about being left alone. All of my Siblings have been going home I'll be the only one around today. But one sister will be back tomorrow. I did finish the Honey Bee block and 1/2 of the heart. My niece was here and gave her approval. Most of the blocks so far are going into a small quilt for her. she's almost 11. Depending on how sleepy Dad is and how many relatives show up. I may be able to sneak in another block today. :D And my Hubby's stepdad is coming in from Butte for surgery next Friday so the fun continues! I think I'm glad I have a job also (started work two weeks ago!) it gives me an excuse to go to bed early!
