Thirty 8" blocks with sashing, set on point, is good enough for a twin size quilt! All the more you sew from now on is a bonus. :-) Are you going to set them straight?

Not sure... I have a fabric with 3 shetland pony heads on it, that will take up the center, probably. I also might make transfers to fabric of each of my kids riding their ponies when they were little. It might have to be a straight setting.

I didn't do any blocks today. I got up early to go get allergy shots and then slept when I got back home.

My eldest son took English riding lessons. He rode a small horse, not a pony, I don't think it was a pony exactly. One lesson he fell off when going at a trot and didn't want to get back on. So that was the end of the lessons. He was young, about 6 or 7.

Our shetland, Little Joe, ran away with Audrey when she was only about 6. She got scared of the speed and sort of jumped off, scraping herself up. She got back on (later) but we were always more careful with Little Joe, never trusting him the same. Later, after we had sold him, we found out he hadn't been properly castrated. He still had one testicle! That's where that agression came from. We were lucky she wasn't hurt too badly.

Two more pony blocks. These are #32 and 33, I think.

For those not on the thread for the new FW quilt. I got a good start on my center block yesterday and today...

That looks good, Carrie. All ready to sew together.

I made one more PC block for tonight. I love this one!
