I may do those colors since it matches w/ my living room colors and it is smaller than the whole quilt.
Trying to decide   |
Oops I just noticed that one of the blocks I made had more than two colors...is this okay? I'm doing batiks so it isn't traditional but want to make sure it will be okay with the group? I don't want to offend anyone.

http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-32590-1.htm its nothing that you, as the user, have to do except to click on the button that says "mirror" on the print menu screen. the software does everything for you and it doesn't change the look of the block in the software just the way it prints out. if you don't mirror this block before printing it won't come together with the fabric going in the right locations. |

so you'll have to play with it on your end to figure out in the pic where this layout is off. it could be the just sashing between everything but its hard for me to tell if she used sashing around everything or not. at least this file is a jumping off point for you to fine tune in order to get those exact measurements |

This what I am thinking of using on my DJ quilt
The red for the blocks, green for the vines and cones and the off white w/ roses for the background and the print w/ roses for the inner border of the quilt binding and backing and maybe make a few blocks w/ a splash of the that fabric The DJ I want to make is on page 109 of the book but Klue says there is no pattern so i am going to have to wing it or make some changes. Lets see what I come up with with the blocks are made. I need to make 56 blocks and I may change the center block to some type of applique. first let's see if I do not give it up :-D Thanks Klue for all your help background in off white w/ roses My cat named Dear Jane for the blocks and vines and sashing and binding and backing |

i posted a sample in the dear jane software for you to fine tune. its the post just above yours. just click on the download button and you'll have the file to open up in your dear jane software. its about 20 inches off from the pic - i think its sashing everywhere but i can't be sure from the pic. |
i love that green and red print - i used that line in the dear jane christmas block swap
