To sit and sew (or sit and do anything for any length of time) I have to take pain medication. The bad thing then is I make mistakes and have to rip out. But then throw the excitement of the olympics in the mix.........forget it! I will never again spend an entire evening on a block that I think is 4.5 when it is really 5x8!
PS: Piecing the PP units together with a longer stitch length first then proceeding with a tiny stitch is the answer. This was such a good tip! |
Hi guys, Just heard from Klue and she just got home from the hospital from an anyerisum[sp] scare. After all the tests they figured it was the results of a severe migraine. Also Blue has had a death in her near family. Just wanted you all to know because we all think so much of them.
Klue please take care. Well be praying for you and the family
Thanks for the update Janstar. My thoughts and prayers are with both Klue and Blue. XO
Prayers to both Klue and Blue.
Please add my prayers too, what an awful time for them both.
Somehow missed this.....
Sheree...your block is hilarious! Klue/Blue...I'm sorry for both of your troubles...thoughts and prayers to you both. |
I've said this before -
Look carefully at the blocks in the quilt that Jane A. Sickle made - many of them are not "perfect" as in matching points, perfect intersections, etc. sometimes "good enough IS good enough" The overall impression of her quilt is great - |
Hoping Blue is doing OK after burying a family member and hope Klue is feeling better. Hugs to you both.
Sheree, I believe you because I did the same but it was a different block. Good job it was one of the easier ones.
