Kathy...I'm so impressed that your tris are just flowing so smoothly! Yippee!! I hope mine will when I get there.
Ladies...I posted week 41 and also went ahead and posted week 42 for you others who are working ahead a little. I added both to the virtual section so they'll be easy to find. I hope I didn't screw up any of these blocks...I'm still working on a redo of the one I screwed up for week 40! |
So I had an epiphany about the name of my Jane quilt while driving today.
For those that don't know I am doing an orange & blue Jane: I am doing those colors because I love the combination, and because I went to Syracuse College right out of high school. I didn't actually finish and get my degree there, but it has always held a special place in my heart so blue and orange are a constant theme for me. Anywho a nickname for Syracuse is 'Cuse, so I was thinking of naming my quilt ... Ex-'Cuse Me Jane Get it?? Hehe, okay that may only be humorous to me, but it's totally the name of my quilt now!! LOL Rachel |
Rachel, that is a great name for your Jane!
|
Inspired name for your Jane, Rachel - and it seems that the link I posted has almost inspired a few of you to think about doing another one. LOL, it didn't work like that on me thank goodness!
I wonder if you will all think the same once you have your quilts done and on the bed????? |
luv that name

What a great name for your Jane!! I totally get it, so how are you coming on it anyway?
|
Rachel - I love the name you came up with for your Baby! I'm not very good with naming my quilts, so I surprised myself when Jane's Journey popped into my head
This morning, I found you guys in the virtual section. Didn't really understand what it was, so took a peek. Will go there more often! |

I for one will be doing only one Jane. Like someone only has one book in them to write, thats how I feel about this quilt. I am loving doing it, but once is totally enough.
I am sure when once it is quilted and on the bed I am NOT going to feel any different. Love the name of your quilt Rachel, clever. Hows the blocks coming on? Elle |
Thanks guys!! I was just happy to finally find a name I like!! I haven't gotten anywhere on the blocks :( The real problem is I haven't gotten all my background fabric yet, I mostly only have fabric for the tris, which I really don't want to start with :( But there are a few squares I can do, so I am planning on having a bit of a Jane marathon this weekend. Hopefully I can get a bunch done, or at the very least I would like to get a bunch of packets together with the fabric and pattern printed and put together so I can just grab one and do it ....
