Oh Kathy, that is great news!!! I feel for you on the work ahead, but keep in mind that it will be soooo worth it when you finally get into that great new house. The floor plan sounds wonderful! When you were talking about the modifications for your DH's wheelchair, I was thinking...hmmm...I think we'll have to move from this house before my DH gets to that point! We almost have to take a U-turn in our hallway to get to the bathroom!!

I suspect that the inmates where you work will miss you terribly. Is there someone who can replace you in the quilting program for them there? It will be sad if there isn't...I'm sure they depend on it for an "outlet". I wonder if you will be able to find something similar to do in Waco.

Well...best of luck with all the immediate things on your plate. Your journey will be coinciding with the finishing of Jane's journey....how interesting!

Wonderful news Kathy! How exciting, a new place to live, and a new home that meets your current needs will be worth all the effort! :D

OK, dear friends - DH & I need prayers. He got ANOTHER job offer today. This one is for Director of Education at the prison where I work. Truth be told - I want him to take this job - I really don't want to stop quilting with convicts or move - twice, even if it is to a new home the second time. I'd rather put money into this place and make it what I want. Would much rather stay put, quilt at work and order on the internet. DH has to let them know tomorrow. Thanks.

And I thank you so very much! He has to make his decision today.

Oh and what a decision to make! When it rains, it pours huh? I'm glad that he is now in the driver seat to make his own decision. Its funny how things tend to work out. We'll be thinking about ya'll. I know he'll make the right decision for you both. :D:

Gee...I didn't know you had that much power either Elle:lol:

Dear All,

We are staying here in Hobbs. He's coming out to the prison to work there. We will be able to drive together!

Fanntastic news Kathy, I am so pleased for both of you. - Can Elle do the same thing for all of us?
