OK, Luv - I thought I was an organization freak, but you have me beat by a mile!!! I love your idea of laying it all out on your design wall. What a wonderful visual reminder of where you are & how much you have accomplished so far!

Luv...your design wall is great! It would really show how far you've come. ( I really understand about the hold up while dealing with DH health issues)...looks like you have lots done though! Keep movin' girl!

Dee...the blocks are 4 1/2" and the tris are 8 x 5. You most definitely want to do this with the group...its a LOT more fun that way!

Three a week is more my speed -- I have so much going on that I wouldn't be able to do the other quilty stuff that I am into. As another thread on the board says -- it is the journey -- not the end.

sewNso 10-20-2011 06:41 AM

for me, the weekly sced. was good because it was soooooo above me. and i usually didn't have to learn a whole bunch of new stuff at once. curved seams this week. circle appliq, another. points another. but you AOTH ladies shouldn't have a problem at all.
i agree with sandpat, that maybe choosing your own blocks each week would work for the AOTH ladies. maybe working on it row by row. but do throw in tri's along with each week.
working ladies might not be able to keep up. i did all the blocks and tri's in 2 months,(my lungs/allergies were acting up.) and ended up injured. SO DON'T SPEED QUILT. keep the body intact for indurance.

BEAUTIFUL ---so much that I want to see more & tried

when you go to Yahoo flicker & www.flickr.com and enter SewNso under a people search, this is what you get and it's not you
what is the screen name you use there and is everything 'locked' to visitors??

http://www.flickr.com/search/people/...sewNso&m=names

a 'photo' search using dear jane got thousands of often wonderful responses, but narrowing it did nothing much. I tried benigton, museum, nada...:( ... would love to see other pics but we need more info to allow us or to narrow the jane - what did you call the picture[s]?? that would get us there

enter sewNso with the number one after it. sewNso1. sewNso was taken.
no, it's not locked. i checked 'public' i think. or something like that. sorry. lst time i put anything on flicker.
and i didn't catch to name it. someplace they asked what this was, and i wrote jane stickle orginal in Bennington vt. but don't see it now.
if anyone has any suggestions, let me know how to clean it up.
didn't think i should post them all here. thx

I am surprises that they let you photograph her quilt. I have been at a lot of shows where you could take pix but not with a flash because it would fade the colors. Thank you for sharing all these with us.

Mim
PS -- I was at Salvador Dali's home once and took a pix of his famous drooping watches. I was severely chastised and almost had the camer confiscated. I made believe I couldn't understand Spanish so I got away with it -- It was a fading issue-- nor a privacy issue
