Here in Madrid at 20:30 pm my first clue done! tone on tone brown and lights.
Bluebonnet, like the green and florals!
Go to club car for dinner....

NiaJane, WOF is width of fabric (approx.42 inches) and we need about 5 strips that are 2 1/2 by WOF.

so fat quarters would only work if you had a great many of them all the same dark fabric.

Seriously I suppose it isn't funny, but you have to laugh when you can, and trust me, I laugh at myself as I try to stay on my feet doing all this. I wore a cast for ten years, now have special shoes that don't fit into boots, any more than my bad foot does, so all of this is done in shoes. You can bet I clean in front of me well before I take the next step. Running naked, a horror, but funny too. I don't get on the roof, I use a long handled roof rake and a step ladder for some of it. That is funny too as I don't like getting too high off the ground. So all in all, entertaining, a workout, and about all the words you can find to say quietly as you do it. Going to travel along this one, watch the progress, send stuff to sample along the way, I love having guinea pigs to try new recipes on and just enjoy the ride.

Marta I think we have the same dark fabric .... is yours 'Perfect Pallet' by Perfect Occasions from England?

AngelAnne, your description of the snow was a hoot! I love the idea of running naked around the outside of the house without being seen...what a great idea! Maybe you should just to say you'd done it!

I'm trying to get Train Ride 8 done today...I may hunt up a dark fabric for this one while I'm in the sewing room.

I had some small hunks (1/4-1/3 yd) of neutrals, so I have less variety, but it used up most of the leftovers! The burgundy is darker than the photo indicates.

Sorry it's Bitty Blocks. They are at Quiltmaker.com-on the Quilty Pleasure blog. Scroll down and you will find Jan. and Feb. blocks . Jan. was bowtie Feb is basket. When I found it there was a clickable Bitty Block page, but this morning I had to search the blog

Love the fabrics everyone has chosen so far!

Loving the burgundy and the brown. I may do a second quilt using brown. Can't decide...
