Jaba: your quilt is just beautiful--both sides.

Sun it is not the same. Mine is Marcus Mixers by Faye Burgos for Marcus Fabrics. I bought it on sale in Fabric Shack.

It is a beautiful brown, Marta, lots of texture interest.

does anyone know if we can use more than one dark.
say a blue and a brown or green? is a fat 1/4 big enough for the dark?
anything more than a fat 1/4 is yardage to me. and I don't have yardage.

Thank you Sun I love brown and earth tones, I hope see your 4patch soon. My english is not very rich but in these rides I'm learning a lot of both: quilting and english LOL

A fat quarter wouldn't be big enough. It looks to me like if you need 18-20" you need at least a 1/2 yd piece. More if you want to use it as your sashing.:)

AngelAnne, your description of the snow was a hoot! I love the idea of running naked around the outside of the house without being seen...what a great idea! Maybe you should just to say you'd done it!

I'm trying to get Train Ride 8 done today...I may hunt up a dark fabric for this one while I'm in the sewing room.

Well Teacup, guess you just have to be here. Guess I wouldn't be totally naked, I have to have shoes. If I didn't laugh, I'd cry. Looking forward to all the great outcomes on this mystery.

Thanks for doing this again, Judy!

I am not a red person, but that swirl stuff totally is wonderful. Love this combination.

Thanks everyone, I really love the way #8 turned out. Sorry dear1953, purple is my fav too!! I had this Kona in teal blue so I'm going to use it as my constant color for this one. (love teal and turquoise too) :) Judy 1 question please...I want to make it about 4 times as big but not sure I want quite that much length ( 80 X 108") will your pattern allow me to make it about 80 X 96" or so?? Here's 2 sets, enough for today, time to start dinner.
