Patty, I think that is a great idea! I started to do that with my Jane quilt...but it started to have nasty language in it! :oops:! I had to stop it! ;)

I'm improving on some parts. My points are now almost consistantly pointy. I'm still struggling with the innies, but my curves are smoother now than when I started too. I like to include my original efforts...I like the story they tell when the quilt is finished.

Too bad you didn't keep up your quilt journal for your DJ even if it did have some nasty language in it. Your quilt is one I go back to time and time again just to take another peek at it!

I agree with leaving the blocks alone -- the "original efforts" -- because they will tell the story of this quilt. ;)

Well, really Patty, some of my thoughts on a few of those blocks really wouldn't have been very nice reading...hmmm...maybe I should have included that "bleep" thingie to use as they were reading.
