I would hate it if you made yards of the narrow borders and then that happened.
I am making 10" blocks. Thank you for catching my error. I looked at the cutting chart and Aie cut her strips 1 1/2" wide and I added for shrinkage and cut mine 2 1/2" wide. I need a finished 1 1/2" border. I didn't have any shrinkage in the width, so I will cut my narrow borders 2" wide. Is that what you did? |

ALso been playing with the biggie border. Have decided to alter the center heart of Aie's border & place 7 of them along each side flipping them point up - point down. The corners will be on the diagonal. However. I made an alteration to her heart. It's just a small one, but you'll have to wait until I get them sewn on before I show you.

But in the mist of all this I did finish a quilt this weekend for my sister’s birthday. I wanted to show my favorite group of ladies. I have to finish one other quilt before I can get back to AOTH it’s for my nephew. (I already missed his birthday!) Hopefully in a few weeks I will be back with a vengeance. This is the link to my post for my sister’s quilt.
