Oh I love these!

I love your use of stripes, sew cornie! I always steer away from them, afraid that any crookedness might show.

I've always shied away from them too, but am actually enjoying the extra challenge they're posing . . . weird, huh? Admittedly, I am using them in the easier blocks. Thanks for the compliments!

Cyndi H 10-14-2010 09:00 AM

I just pulled out 2 FQs of stripes - and am challenging myself to use them on some FW blocks!

I did too! I got tired of trying to stretch them out to be the 6 1/2 inches. I'd be so-o close but not quite there so I'd dampen them and press while pulling just a little.

your colors are so calming, i like them.well, the blocks are all pretty.

Thank you, some of them gave me a time making corners and points to meet. Glad I started with all of you. Many pretty blocks have been made.

Thank you guys. I'm trying to keep up. And it means so much to me to have this board - it certainly keeps me going. I love that we can live in all parts of the world and get together and see each other's progress. I am going to try to post more on the board - I look all the time so I need to make my presence known! I get so much inspiration from everyone.

Okay - I am trying everything but am not getting all my points to match. It's getting better but not perfect yet. Jeez! I pin and everything. Oh well, I think this is a situation where practice makes perfect. Thank you for not allowing the quilting police in here!
Roxanne - I am humbled by your matching points, Honchey!

I am making only one quilt from my blocks. I have slowed down the last week or so. I had Christmas things to do and now going out of town for a few days.
Hope to catch up soon. Thanks for your comment.
