So far I am using scraps, but will probably narrow it down when I have completed all the blocks and not use the ones that just don't fit in color wise.

Here are my number 9 and 10. The box(#9)was hard for me! I took it out so many times to try and get my points to match but it is done :-)

I finally "finished" blocks 7-10. I think block 8 needs to be redone. I'll starch it next time! At least I caught up before tomorrow's posting of 11 and 12
Thanks to Honchey for the rotary cutting instructions - I'm getting it! When I was doing the birds in flight, I could feel how it was suppose to go. Unfortunately, I lost it with the bouquet! I just had to do it "blind". I love it when my brain goes totally visual - no words at all. Its such a great feeling. Thanks again to AKangel for setting this up. I never would have tried anything like this without this group and the quilting board guild. |
Nice job Kooklabell!

I totally agree Kooklabell, I usually do large 12 or 16 inch blocks. This has been a real challenge and so much fun after not quilting much in the past few years. |
I'm dying for 12" blocks right about now. Thank goodness for the PA Dutch BOM.
Kookla, your tricky #7 block looks really good. |
