I received my book today. I have the same question? Plus how much of each color fabric do we need? I figure we are suppose to do scrappy, but I was really looking for a more controlled scrappy. I haven’t gone into my computer to see if the author has yardage requirements listed. Anyone have any ideas?

happylab--pg 262 and 266 have fabric requirements for borders/backing.

Thank-you you carriem, for the info for fabric requirements. I have another question. How many flying guess are we suppose to make? I’m printing out the patterns that we will be using off the computer.

I am pretty sure it says on those pages...I know when I printed mine it says to print 1 of the first page and then so many copies of the 2nd page...

Ok I just looked it up and for the queen you need 64 units for the lap size 48 units...

Thanks Carrie - I jumped right in with the center and have not read anything else! LOL - me bad! I would have discovered the error when I print my first block! I do not pre-print anything. I do just the block(s) each week. I print, decide the fabrics, then get started.

Block 17

I need help understanding how piece A1-A2 fits into piece K/I. If I line up the seam it’s always longer on one side.

Debbie B, check out the other photos, etc., and JeanieG has hers almost done. Hope this helps since you ask back in 3-13-2022. I have the center done, and doing the border when I stopped and sit it aside. Good luck to you.
