Carrie I really like your block and your stick-to-it-ivness. Just wait. Like the tortoise and the hare, you will probably finish first!

Great blocks as usual. I have decided to join in the fun. Better late than never, right QuiltE? So far, I have done Alabama and Boy's Playmate.
I won't be doing all the blocks and will probably be skipping quite a few and coming back to them towards the end when I decide how many I need and what colour combinations are missing. Yes, those are spider web batiks. All the blocks will be made form Halloween batiks, with the sage as my constant. |
And another great spooky PC block! I love those Halloween batiks :)

Thanks. I love the blue. Found it on Etsy then discovered the matching sage on-line. Then found another one ...

Nice centering of the web! What inspired you to use these fabrics?
|
Hi oksewglad - Thanks, I enjoy fussy cutting. I am a Halloween freak and recently found some Halloween batiks. With these fabrics I can combine my love of all things Halloween without making too many people cringe with in-your-face spooky fabrics. :)

Spooktacular!!!!!!!!!!
Those two really fit well together and love how the batiks are giving them a glow. **cheers** W4Me is on THE Trail! :D:D:D |
QuiltE, do you think she will join us on the DJ trail as well?

Thanks QuiltE.
I can say with the utmost confidence that a DJ is never in my future. Either a FWS or PC was always niggling in the background because I bought the books. Time, some interesting batiks, and QuiltE's encouragement made my decision to go for it. Notice that I chose PC with its larger blocks. |
