Baby prep is in full swing here! I started knitting a sweater for my daughter's baby... one that she picked out 6 years ago! I have completed the back:

We are back in painting mode. Today we started taping off DD's guest bathroom. Whoever put plaster all over the walls got it on the tile that is around the bathtub. They also got it on the vanity. Sigh. I spent today scrapping plaster off of tile. |

I have been asked recently why I do all this painting. I told 'em that I feel that it is a waist of $ to pay someone to do something that I could do myself. Especially when there are so many things that need to be done that we can't do ourselves. DD feels the same. We especially didn't want DM to pay anyone to do these things.
