I like those Jinny Beyer patterns. Saved the kaliedoscope one... Brewster's Choice. That would look so awesome in batiks.

Today I've been working on a Scrappy Mountain Majesties (Bonnie Hunter) out of men's shirts and homespuns. It's going to make the coziest quilt. My favorite ones I've got around the house are made from shirts. They make great couch cuddling quilts. This one will be donated.

Weird day here yesterday in Western PA. We had rain, snow, sleet, hail then sunshine all in a 20 minute span. It never got above 45*. Weatherman says we've had snow as late as May 31 so this wasn't rare but it sure surprised me. Today is sunny and heading to 65*. I guess that's why I like living in this area--can experience all the seasons in a 24 hour span.

No JanRN, the cowboy cookies I sent out was not Laura Bush's recipe. I can sent it to you...its from the Texas Reporter and makes a lot of cookies! Mine had chocolate instant pudding in them...no coconut or peanuts! Just thought it was intersting that her recipe was posted on Face book today.
