Aunt Jo, I love how your quilt is turning out! The sashing makes it all come together!

Jeanie and Violet, beautiful blocks! Jeanie I love your center butterfly...

Topper, you shouldn't be alone...did your find all the threads? There's a thread for the block you're on and we're all at different stages and cheering each other on! We just post our blocks in the right threads as we can! Look forward to seeing yours!

Here are my blocks. I did 2 in 2 days; it must be a record. Of course that periwinkle was really easy. Looking at another tree next with thousands of HSTs in it. Thank goodness I'm paper piecing!

I love the colors you used in your blocks and the lovely job you have done on them. They will look wonderful in your quilt.

I love your blocks; the fussy cuts in #65 really make the block. Beautiful colors.
It's so nice to see these blocks again, especially when someone else is doing them LOL. Oooh-the tree block! Have fun with that one and I look forward to seeing it. You do such nice work.

Thanks for the eye candy Quilting Nonnie! I've missed seeing all the blocks each week, so now we can see yours and the others that have not finished. I never get tired of seeing these beautiful blocks.

Hello Ladies! Another enjoyable review of your blocks, as I get ready to post mine.

Honchey ... I so agree with you! Thank goodness and special blessings for that dear person who created all the PP patterns for this quilt and then so willingly shared them with all of us.

#65 ... Peaceful Hours
and
#66 ... Periwinkle

Oh a little robin shows up. Looking over everyones wonderful blocks, I couldn't help but think that wonder if Peaceful Hours was another block to show case a fabric like bflies, birds et al.The Periwinkle block looks so simple (sure there have been grrs-getting the odd shaped triangles to line up). QE yours looks so Christmasy--would make a lovely table runner for the season or even with some of the great pastels that have shown up.

OKSGlad .... psssssssssssst PP ... lines right up, with nary a blink!! :)
The challenge I have is getting fussy cut pieces to end up where they should be in a block. Especially if it is not the first one put in place!

I was really pleased with the Robin who brings us many Peaceful Hours.! I love working in the office in the spring when they are singing in full chorus right outside my office window. As for Christmasy?? .... well, yes the green and red but ........... (did you use your 200%?) *giggle*

oksewglad 01-18-2012 08:31 AM

Ah not a Christmas rose then, but a sweet Be mine Valentine. Great fussy cutting. I probably shouldn't admit it, but PP a couple of hearts for Emily's small quilt for school fundraiser. When I get all three finished will share. Now back to book work. Coming down the home stretch, but milk check came so have sovles to beat from the door as well, but must close out 2011 first.

*gasp* ...... what IS the world coming to? YOU PP'd? *gasp* *sputter* *choke*]

Back to the number crunching and off to the bank! Your Ontario compadres start getting their milk cheque twice a month in February. It's quite a controversy! I'm crunching words today!!!

Whoa there, don't have a coronary!!!
Always have gotten 2 milk checks a month; second one is the "advance" for the month, first the "settlement"of the previous month with bf/pr/scc adjustments added.

Meanwhile everyone else is wondering what on earth we are talking about!

Just dairy-cow-talk, folks! :)
