We are all in the same boat, and yes, I think it is getting easier. Well done everybody.

Esqmommy 03-30-2010 01:30 PM

Beautiful blocks. All of us are in the same boat and we all can appreciate how challenging these blocks can be. By posting, the good, the bad and the ugly, we are showing our perseverance and good nature! Keep em coming, we all need the inspiration.

sandpat 03-30-2010 03:33 PM

sarah...those are wonderful blocks!!! I wouldn't worry too much about posting if I were you....they are inspirational to me!

Sheree from Chicago 03-30-2010 08:19 PM

Bchuggins, Leslie & Sara your blocks are great! I love looking at them all.

jolo 03-31-2010 04:49 AM

Ok,As soon as I can get a camera I will show you. Also the scenic barns that I am making. Committed to it before I found you guys, only 2 more blocks and then I can devote mor time to DJ, am also trying to think of a name for mine. But you all will want to wipe all the drool from your blocks before you put them away. Jolo

sandpat 03-31-2010 04:55 AM

Sounds like a plan jo! Can't wait to see your blocks. The barn quilt sounds interesting too!

I have followed the thread and seen all the beautiful blocks you have inspired the ladies to make but I am perplexed. How are you using the triangle block?

the triangle block is for the border. the point will face out and we will each find fabric of our choosing to match our quilts and use them between the triangles with the points in as fillers

winipb2 04-15-2010 08:20 PM

Gotcha. I can see the triangle now. Thanks

sandpat 04-17-2010 05:35 AM

Luv....those look fantastic!

Sheree from Chicago 04-17-2010 02:23 PM

Great blocks Luv!

luvmortherest 04-17-2010 06:34 PM

thank you one and all

wilhelmina 04-17-2010 09:56 PM

Pretty blocks, Luv...its looks like you did some fussy cutting! I agree with Rachel, I can't believe you are doing two sets...that was my plan too, originally. I was going to do a second scappy set, then I find out how long these little blocks take to sew!!! Well, I had to choose, and I wanted time to play in some of the swaps.

luvmortherest 04-18-2010 05:46 PM

thanks

You are doing really well Bev, those look great.
Mine were done some time ago now so it is all put together and quilted, Just finishing the borders, but I didnīt do the triangles I was not a fan of those so I am doing a rather pretty applique design.

Elle
