Sheree, they look amazing! I love your use of color and they look so crisp and clean! Are you planning sashing and if so, what color?
|
I'm doing a white sashing. Would love to do the sashing that Bluechicken is doing but that looks like an intense amount of work added to the already intense piecing of this DJ! I hope I'm not sorry for choosing to do the blocks this way. I really like the blocks that are being done with one print+white.
I welcome honest opinions here! Am I trying to get too much of the red, white and blue in one block? Hugs, Sheree |
No...I don't think so but you can really seem to tell alot more when you get the entire set of the 1st 5 weeks out together and lay them out. You can even tell better if you take a pic and put them on the screen...kinda like you can never see a mistake until you do that??? Well...same thing... I happen to love what you are doing with the 3 colors. I'm doing it to a few of my blocks, but not all.

Sheree, I think your blocks are fantastic with three colors. Not too much at all, it really adds unique interest to the blocks. For example, your one block (can't think of the number), looks like lips! A mouth with teeth in it...very pretty effect by using the colors like that!

I am so impressed with everyone's blocks. I am finishing up on week 3 so I can start week 4 tomorrow!
