Connie: Strangely enough I think I like the first one but with the last one being a close second. I face the same situation. I kind of like the B fabric I originally chose but have opted to use the same fabric as the sashing. I hope the blocks will appear to float. The B fabric will be the back of the quilt. My project has a 113 blocks in it, amazing how similar fabrics seem to just cluster together. Love how everyone's is turning out. Well back to trying to distribute the different fabrics evenly.

sunliten smiles:) thanks for the chuckle!

4 choices as I think the B fabric that I matched my 3 1/2 by 4 1/2 inch blocks to is way too busy. It is the last picture. Suggestions, anyone on what looks best? If I don't use the B fabric now, maybe it can be part of the border or the backing.

I will check back after I go to Hudson for my son's 31st birthday dinner!

Connie

I liked the first layout best. With what looks like pink checks.

Really like this-something cheerful to look at first thing in the morning.

Anoka, the Susan Cleveland presentation was on piping and she explained about not being comfortable with FMQ so she does SID with invisible thread. Picked up several ideas I can use. The piping...no, although I like the way it looks.
If anyone gets a chance to hear her, she is fun and informative. She mentioned escaping a (or should I say, another?) blizzard just in time to get here and was incredulous in a good way that the temperature was 82!
And on to train business...this is just way cool, Judy! Can't wait to get time to sew! :-) Love seeing the ones that are done already! Man, it makes me feel like a slug.

They're all looking so pretty! Can't wait to get back home Sunday & finish (or at least work) on mine.
Thanks again, Judy for another great pattern. You're tutorials are so great & easy to follow.
