Ole! I needed to make mine a bit bigger, plus I didn't have enough left of the black anyway. So, the old piano keys work again. And I used up almost all of that batik. Judy, I have a question? Those setting triangles fit so well....is there a formula for making those? I can kind of figure them out using the Pythagorean theorem (from high school no less), but is there an easier way?

whitepine, I like your finished table topper. Glad to see how yours turned out as that is how I plan to finish mine

Very pretty, Whitepine..I love batiks, the piano key border really hits the spot...

Glad I haven't done my border yet. Stealing your idea Whitepine. Love yours.

Love your piano keys, they look great. As to the setting triangles, I just sort of measured how big they needed to be on the one side, adding a bit for the seam allowence, and figured how big a square woudl be. Real scientific, huh? I know somewhere on the web there will be a table telling you how big to make them, but sorry, I can't help there. I'm a seat-of-the-pants kind of quilter, and sometimes it works, sometimes not. LOL

Here you go, Whitepine. The chart is on the bottom half of the page.

Nice finishes, everyone! Love the creativity of some of the finishes. Judy, you gave us a good way to use up some of those pesky scraps!
