What a great group of cheerleaders I have! Maybe I will get this quilt done. Here are two more I did tonight. I love the Christmas block, and it fits so well with my theme... farm life and farm ponies while my kids were growing up. We have lots of wild birds here, but especially cardinals! Our neighbor called his place "Cardinal Crest". With these last two I am up to 31 blocks. I am doing most in the book, except for ones I really dislike or that are too simple. The last picture is my growing stack of blocks.

I have all the blocks for the very center of the FW Medallion Quilt completed. I had to redo some of the pp because it had been so long since I had done it that my pieces did not fit correctly. There is another layer around this one, then a small border, then a layer of flying geese and then another larger border. That all has to be completed for the Medallion center! I hope I can get it all done before we start the actual blocks the 1st of August!

Thanks. I knew that medallion quilt was going to be a ton of work. Just pace yourself and you'll have a real beauty, eventually.

I Love your PC blocks SBG! I bought the first of my fabric before my book came in & I bought patriotic fabric. LOL
Today is DD & #2DSon's birthday. Yes they were born on the same day 10 years apart. He & his finance came in last night. We are gonna have a BBQ tomarrow at the lunch hour as DD has to take DGD to Fredricksburg for Theater every night. (DGD got the part of Duffy in Annie.)
